This little kitesurf report is about Roberto on his kitetrip in summer to Mallorca. Learning kitesurfing in Mallorca in August.
Roberto contacted previously by e-mail from Paris and informed us of his interest in learning kitesurfing through Asociacion Aprende a Navegar, our non-profit kite surf club.
The kitesurfing school www.mallorcakiteschool.com was created by the Asociación Aprende in Navegar to facilitate the learning of members of the kite club who after their 3 hours of free lessons included in their contribution, they consider it necessary to have a few more lessons to reach the level of kitesurfing necessary to be independent and to practice the sport from the standards and the most safe standards possible.
Once Roberto arrived in Mallorca, he started his first 3 hours of kite racing with kite equipment from the German brand Flysurfer.
With the use of the Peak 2 size 9 and 12 meters, Roberto realized the necessary technique, also using the best kiteboarding equipment for kite surfing in Mallorca. During the stay of our friend Roberto, the thermal wind blowing in the bay of Pollensa allowed the wind to reach 10-13 knots.
Roberto progressed on his kite course until he started kitesurfing on kiteboarding by doing a few hundred meters of kitesurfing in both directions. The equipment used by Roberto was a flysurfer kite kite and kiteboard, model Flyboard XL 170×50 cm
